What we build, and what it costs.
One paid step, $800 to $2,000. You get the problem named precisely and the way to fix it. Build it from there yourself, or have us do it.
What it costs
No quote before we have looked.
| Stage | What you get | Price |
|---|---|---|
| First call 30 minutes |
We look at your workflows from above and say whether anything here is worth building. Sometimes the answer is no. | Free |
| Workflow diagnosis | One workflow mapped end to end: where the hours go, what is actually holding it up, and how we would fix it. Which tools, in what order, what moves between them, and what has to be checked. What it costs to build, and what it costs to run each month. Yours to keep and to act on however you want. Where it lands in the range depends on how many tools the workflow touches, and you agree the figure before it starts. | $800 to $2,000 |
| We build it | Optional. The system running in your accounts, on your logins, documented and handed over. Scope, exclusions and timeline agreed in writing before anything starts. | Quoted in the diagnosis |
| After handover | It is yours. It runs in your accounts, on your logins, and it is documented so your own team can change it. We do not sell maintenance contracts. We would rather build something that tells you when it breaks than something that needs watching. If you want a hand later, it is charged by the hour. | By the hour |
How this works
We do not hold back the answer.
Knowing exactly what to build is most of the problem. Once a workflow is mapped and the fix is written down properly, someone technical on your team can build a lot of it with the AI tools you already have. We would rather tell you that than hide it to protect a quote.
So the diagnosis is the thing you are buying, and what you do with it is your call: build it in house, hand it to a contractor, or have us do it.
Some of it really is straightforward once it is written down. Some of it touches six tools, four sets of credentials and a process that cannot be allowed to fail quietly. That second kind is where having us build it earns its money, and the diagnosis will tell you honestly which one you are looking at.
Cheapest thing that works, not the newest. A system you cannot afford to run is not a system. The diagnosis prices the monthly cost before you commit, and we reach for the cheapest tool that does the job. The publishing system we run ourselves costs nine cents per finished article.
What running one costs each month, roughly.
- Enquiry triage with drafted replies, 200 enquiries: $5 to $15
- A weekly report pulled from four sources: under $10
- Invoice reading, 300 documents: $10 to $15
- An assistant running on your own server: $10, plus the AI subscription you already use
Model usage is usually the small part. The platform subscription is the bigger line, and often one you already pay for. The diagnosis gives you the real number for your setup.
Is this you
Three situations we see most often.
Everything routes through you. Quotes, approvals, answers, chasing: none of it moves unless you touch it. Hiring does not fix it, because the next person inherits the same manual steps.
Every job restarts from zero. Each client job is rebuilt by hand from the last one. It works because your people remember, which means it stops working the week someone is away.
Your tools do not talk to each other. Data typed in twice, the weekly report rebuilt from four places, and nobody able to say where things stand without asking three people.
If one of those is your week, the call is worth thirty minutes.

Bring one process that everybody dreads.
Thirty minutes, no charge, and a straight answer about whether it is worth building.
